Bethune- Cookman University has a rich history being more than 100 years old. Totaling just under 300,00 square feet, the University Student Housing project was the largest construction project the University had undergone in 30 years. Completed in two phases, the design and construction on four, 4-story dorm buildings housed 1,200 beds. The two buildings in Phase One created a new edge to the east side of campus, while the Phase Two buildings added a new presence to the center core of campus. These four new dormitory buildings are the first step in a larger master planning process to create a more unified, collegiate campus for Bethune-Cookman University.
