Aviation Facilities Company is an American multinational e-commerce company that sought to establish their new transfer station standard going forward. The construction of the 200,000-square-foot structure utilizes a tilt-up panel design and a clear span interior that accommodates the current tenant plus future tenants. The facility, with a surrounding 450,000-square-foot concrete apron that could accommodate seven aircraft at once, boasted 87 truck doors, 53 dock pits and equipment, extensive conveying, sorting equipment and platforms, administrative and employee areas, and building systems including fire, telecommunications, and security.
